Patriotism is alive and well in Pokemon, apparently.
This is Wargle, the Valor Pokemon. Based off of the American Bald Eagle, Wargle is the first GenV Pokemon to have it's English name. It's also a blatant reference to the United States, which I really don't mind. In fact, I'm glad Pokemon finally decided to honor a country with a Pokemon, and the U.S. of A. happened to be the first one honored, as it damn well should be.
Now, I don't know what Wargle's National Pokedex number is going to be, but I propose #1776, as it's so obviously a reference to the U.S.A.
