Got burned cooking, help?

The thought of the day...
I was cooking and the pot boiled-over with hot water and it had splashed on a good 60% of my hand. The skin didn't instantly puff up but it is burning fairly much and is red like a lobster.

There's nothing much you can do about it.
It's happened to me once.
It fucken hurt. We called for help and the people who came just said to keep it under cold water and put a bag of ice on it to keep it cool.
I would try rubbing some lotion with aloe on it too
:3
The aloe actually does help the skin a little bit since I'm so pale and it is a GOD SEND for me. When it finally blisters up, I know I'm not going to pop them, since it's not my fortay to shove needles into my skin. Thanks for the tips.
but yeah I was afraid there might have been more than just 3rd degree burns from what you described, but yes that is indeed the best way to deal with burns, doctor knows best by far *nod nods* Just glad everything sounds like it'll be okay ^^
