In a perfect world I'd probably say something like first two terms abortions are fine, and third term are not, but I think if that stance was taken, a lot of pro-life zealots would keep pushing the date back until it was all illegal. They're rather forward with that being their goal.

So in the spirit of protecting a woman's right to control her own body even if it has a cluster of cells in it which is not really 'her', I'm totally pro-choice. It's not like we're lacking in humans.

[04] Do you think a country would fail with a female president?

A county? No, there have been many female politicians who ran states well, this county? Maybe, the only choices we have right now include a braindead cunt with a yooper accent who gets by on winking and thinking Africa is a country, or Hillary... and Hillary will whore herself out to any dumb cause she can to grab up votes ('Ban violent video games!') and that strikes me as bad mojo to the nth degree.

The problem with female politicians isn't the female part, but the politician part.

[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?

Fuck yes. If a person is DNA tested, and coming into a legal system that assumes innocence until evidence is presented opposite of that, I don't see the problem. The death penalty in Iran is probably not something I can get behind, but in the US, or UK or whatnot, sure!

Some states, like California may be better off without just to avoid the costly appeals, but I don't see how killing a man ruins his life any more than locking him away forever, if both are in the small percentage of innocent. That and dead men don't break out of jail.

I have a cousin in a PA state pen for murder, he just barely avoided the death penalty, and while he was just the accomplice he's not exactly repentant about what he did, and he's not living much of a life behind maximum security bars.

Hahahaha. This is the question I think the author really made the whole thing for. I'll say I think many recreational drugs should be legal. If you want to throw your life away be my guest... but potheads are some of the most annoying fucks on the planet. You're not creative. You're not original. Yes, but he's not your God, he doesn't have any prophets or bastard jew kids. He doesn't have a strong opinion about daily happenstances and I think for the most part he doesn't get involved.

In retrospect I kind of think about God like penises. The more someone blabs about their own, the less confident they are in it.

Yes, but I think this mostly will always be a state-by-state thing in America. I don't really want same sex marriage in, say Texas as forced by the federal government, because it will always be a point of contention...

Just a basic enforcement of full faith and credit would help so much more.

I think it's wrong when anyone of any color bypasses laws to get here, butting there way in front of people who have been working on getting citizenship for years.

I think it's more wrong so many get away with paying people, legal or not, less than minimum wage. I'd do any shit job (and have done many) if you paid me properly. It's not that your average American (or average recent legal immigrant) won't work in a field, it's that they won't work in a field for 4 dollars a day.

No, well she may want a relationship with him/her later, and girls as young as ~5~ have given birth before, but she can't possibly raise it.

It should be scaled down until we leave, yes, but we can't edit->undo an occupation easily. We broke Iraq, and we have to at least try to keep it together for the entire time we start to pull out.

If someone is over 65 and terminal, I don't see a problem, but that just means someone will be 64 and terminal. I kind of have personal experience with suicide, and it's a really complex issue.

I basically wish it were easier for people with serious issues to just tell doctors "No, I won't be taking any more meds." and be done with it that way rather than the Kevorkian bullshit.

Hells yes. There's a whole frigging chapter about this very thing in Starship Troopers which is a great read comparing the practice to training a dog.

Basically there are many ways people abuse children, but not all spanking instantly is child abuse, and it seems now with this spankless generation kids are more fucked up than the apparently 'psychologically damaged' ones that came before them.

In 2000, McCain by far, it's just in the election he was really trying too hard to pander to his 'core', and it was disgusting. I campaigned for Obama but I didn't vote for either.
