Affordable Comic Commissions. (5 slots left)
TLDR Version:
Grymm's comic page commissions are too expensive! But he's figured out some alternative methods to lower prices and is offering them to YOU! Lay claim to a slot or slots by commenting or noting him!
Full Digital Shaded Color (Exactly like what you see me do in Voodoo Walrus): $50
Black and White Inked and shaded: $40
Cleaned up graphite: $30
More detailed explanation below:
Hey everybody. For a while now I've been pondering how best to offer a nice balance of quality and affordability when it comes to offering comic commissions. See, I generally subscribe to the industry standard when it comes to comic page layout... 11" x 17". This is friggin' huge. But it allows for a lot of detail to be packed in. But it also means it pretty expensive. Just for a page to be all in graphite I'd charge $50 .
This is fine for people you want something huge that they can eventually hold in their hand, admire, maybe even frame. But what about those people who simply want something quick and fun and affordable?
Well I think I've finally got it figured out.
I can offer smaller scale, more affordable comic pages to those interested but they'd be along the lines of the Voodoo Walrus comic pages like this one here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4170359
They'd be no larger than 9" x 12", could range from graphite to ink, to digital color, and while not packing an absolute ton of background detail, it'd still be more than some comic artists in the pro industry back in the 90's could do.
I love drawing comics. Obviously. I'd love to see more people commissioning me for comic page projects. But I don't want to have to break any one's adorable little piggy bank either.
So let's give this a whirl... I'm opening FIVE commission slots for comic pages. And its your choice as to which type of medium you'd like me to use.
Full Digital Shaded Color (Exactly likecoloring style in Voodoo Walrus): $50
Black and White Inked and shaded: $40
Cleaned up graphite: $30
So if you want a slot, let me know by comment or note. You can take just one, two, hell, you can take all five if you think you have an idea that might need the space.

Hmm and speaking of which, do you prefer to discuss the details via one of the chat clients or via E-mail? And for that matter, how detailed do you like for commissioners to be when it comes to comics? Because I have no problems giving a break down of each and every panel. Or if wanted, I could simply give a rough idea of what was to transpire and let you flush it out if you work better that way.
"Going Downtown" was strictly black and white pen and ink just like the current "Changing of Faith" comic.
As far as commissioner details go, I'm pretty flexible. I can stick straight to precisely what you give me to work with or I can work off a general idea of what you'd like to see page to page while giving it my own twists. Going Downtown for example was me working with pretty precise details whereas A Changing of Faith is Vipra giving me a loose outline and random "wish list" and some suggestions now and then and letting me loose! Then again, it might be better to figure it out once I know what I'd be working with!
