Hmm... i would fight mostly defensively with a polearm of some kind, also with a little water-based magic, in practical clothing of an eastern sort of style, and I'd probably fill the noble defender sort of archetype :3
Haha. This is actually kinda hard for me since my brain is in fighting game mode like 80% of the time.
if id have to pick a style particularly for Shard it would be he would use hand to hand and an assortment of knives, using quick and swift strikes, having a bit of a stuck up, taunting nature. clothing style would be a long leather jacket to have his knives slide out of the sleeves otherwise shirtless. below would be just pants, barefoot.
Theme is also something i'm horribly indecisive on XD; so ill do 3.
First type ending up being juggle-focused, long range and heavy knockback with relatively low damage using a halberd.
Second type being fast and combo-heavy involving claws and punches.
Of course with various magic spells interspersed. Clothing? Uh.. Shit, I dunno, the usual? XD
And since I can't think of a theme this just goes with everything: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iof5pRAIZmw (I'll try to think of a real answer to that last question later)
Immediately Kyo Kusanagi from King of Fighters comes to mind for my characters fighting style, with more of a kick focus.
The outfit would be my character's plain outfit, maybe with a headband. I find fighting in plain clothing, amusing.
And the theme would be sort of a quirky, acoustic Ben Fold's style song. For the purpose of it being very peculiar, and sort of fun.
I've thought a lot about making a fighting game with my characters so I have a really good idea of my guy would play. My human persona more specifically.
My fursona would probably fight like a fusion of Taokaka from Blazblue and Kyo Kusanagi, as little sense as that makes XD
Fighting style; If it's unarmed I'll like for my character to have a kinda Akido type fighting stlye, consists of throws and reversals. Maybe I finishing move of slaming the oppnent to the floor then sitting on em (But I'm being typical and derping there :U)
If armed; A lance. Lances are cool, good long stabbing range with quick thrusting attacks. MILLION STAB! *jab jab jab*
Clothing: Something dapper like a waist coat, shirt and nice trousers. Same suit a friend drew Split in (http://www.furaffinity.net/full/3936748/) Might as well look classy ;3
This is a fun thing to think about! I actually almost designed movesets for my characters as if they were in Smash Brothers when Brawl was coming out. I was so psyched for that game X3
Hmm, on that line of thought, Rito would be able to switch between himself and his "other self," Deltaro - sort of like a Zelda/Sheik thing. Rito's fighting style would be a combination of dance-like moves (lots of rump-bam moves, a-la Peach :P) and some limited magic attacks, perhaps a focus on his attacks doing much more damage as counters than as direct attacks. Deltaro, on the other hand, would be more offensive - using metal ribbons to both deflect and inflict long-distance attacks. He would also be able to choose between whip-like ribbons or a sword - to balance it, he could only use one at a time, with just enough lag to limit abusing both. The sword wouldn't even be sharp - more like a police baton wielded like a sword, and his dance-like moveset would work here too with the baton-sword being a quicker, lighter attack style.
Clothing style? Hm, Let's go with 80's urban for Rito, and bandages as Deltaro's only clothing - same oxidized-copper-green as his metal ribbon-whips.
Theme? Dancing from an inner beat. Rito would be more nervous about it and compensate with his magic, Deltaro would have confidence to spare and have far fewer, if any, magical-based attacks.
By the way (I've rambled on perhaps a bit too long already, sorry!) I'm thinking of some mix of 'ow Soul Calibur and Smash Brothers flow in action.
I wonder if savate/capoeira/other kick based martial arts and taurs would mix...

I don't care if they're already other peoples themes. MINE.

And theme, off the top of my head Wild cats by Ratatat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr5Aq8NrFWg Tis a very niffty tune.
Or when oppents health is low or what not, theme changes to Million way of the Drums from Samurai Champloo soundtrack http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWEmBRlEdFI Awesome music.
Gah, I put too much thought into this :x
