AX07 highlights:
Katie and I had Sushi dinner with Reiji Tailchaser and her husband phantom42, and her friend Shelly. Absolutely fun.
Met lead animator for OnePiece, took picture with him
Participated in Masquerade for first time, rocked the house and walked away with my nakama and three awards including judges choice, best onepiece costume, and best of show. They said next year we can't register as novice; we just made intermediate class at least, and its only our first year. Ultimate win.
bought sculpture of nall and bluedragon from lunar
bought breath of fire artbook and colorwalk artbook; plus walked away with 12 pieces of fanart from artist alley.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the faces i met this year again at the next expo. Chris and Ami, my nakama and I will see you there!

As for the whinin' they probably should have reviewed what the prizes were before competing, and done more than either walked around on stage to music, or a dance number. There were _alot_ of dance numbers, and i think the judges are sick of em. Then again, maybe we were just simply too awesome :}
we're all jazzed to do twice as good next year!
