I over-charge for my shit
I shouldn't charge people at all for my art
Even if what I make for people takes hours to complete
And is rather acceptable
fuck it
I'm sorry, but people piss me off so much.
I hate how I take into consideration my skill level, and the time it takes me to get stuff done, my accuracy, etc and put a price on it that I judge to be suiting. I don't have a huge ego. I don't think my art is the best out there. I don't think I'm a big name artist. But I know what I do, I know the effort and the skill I put into these pieces for people and I don't let them buy shit art off me.
I think the prices I put on my stuff is fair, if not cheap. Repeatedly I have people tell me I'm undercharging and yet I still don't raise my prices.
But people here keep popping up and asking me for freebies or lower prices. As if I'm over-charging. I also don't like when they claim they should get a discount just for knowing a friend of mine. You know the discounts my friends get? None. The closest thing you could count is when I, at random, choose to give them gift art once in a while.
People need to realize that art isn't something you just have laying around already. It takes time. It takes practice and skill and a whole lot of shit. And if I should give them freebies they should just draw their own fucking art.
I should start showing them other artists that do commissions, show them the 100$ price tags on their shit. Maybe then they'd realize I'm being fucking rational.
fuck.

EDIT:
Also, not to toot my own horn, but I draw this shit with a mouse. Not a tablet. So it's a bit more difficult for me to make shit anyway, don't you think?

STONE I TELL YOU!
I need a paypal so people might buy shit :c
People DO have lives you know, and art is something that we all know takes a lot of time and effort. To be honest ive seen people who charge double your prices for quality that is either close or below yours.
Keep up the good work, and try not to let those idiots get to you
I don't think it's your art or your skill level, I think your customers are just cheap xDD
