One thing I curious about is when did the whole making websites more horizontal instead of vertical bullshit start. My eyes have never hurt before even after hours of looking around FA, yet for some reason for the first time my eyes are straining. When I looked through the comments on  dragoneer journal he said that part of the reason for making this change was to get us used to the horizontal version as opposed to the older more vertical version that in my opinion is easier on the eyes. How is a more horizontal version better?
