I am rather frustrated now, I just got a call from the mechanic, they put this charge plate thing on the car and it didn't fix the problem, so they put the old one back on. However, it still didn't start. They put something called 'starting fluid' in and it started and kept going until they quit feeding it starting fluid, then it stopped again. They think it now may be the fuel pump, which I got replaced 2 years ago. It only had a 1-year warranty but they said they would give it to me for 1/2 price and with labor and tax, now it will be $404. I hope that's all and nothing else is wrong.

It's frustrating because I can't really afford the car repair to start with and it's 2:30, they close at 6pm (3 1/2 hours from now) I am hoping that they can get it working today.
