It's unfortunate isn't it. remember niche themes and fetish themes get more views and people tend not to care for anything else not related.

It's everybody's world! :D But, yeah. Even when I go through an entire artist's catalog, I'm just looking for the bits that interest me. If I can't tell from the thumbnail, I probably won't look.

Some of that tho is just... time management. I don't think I'm going to live long enough to look deeply into every bit of art ever placed online. So, I have to filter a bit. Figure everyone does that to some degree and, well...

My two most-faved and commented pieces of art on DA are two of the things I've put the least amount of effort into and certainly don't reflect the general theme of my gallery. "Jaws vs Spongebob Squarepants" and "Kim Possible meets Erin Esurance" have gotten the most attention out of anything I've done, and those were a couple of joke pictures. People who find and fave them could care less about the rest of my gallery, but hey, that's the way it goes sometimes...

Its furry 101.... work on a popular fetish and throw on a popular character and wham! you got furries eating that shit like LSD glazed cookies. Its a true tragedy as amusing works and artists with real talent get overshadowed by crappy rule 34 shit and crap like that. Quite tragic, I can totally boost my watches and pageviews by thousands by drawing stupid fanart but then that defeats the purpose of even remotely calling myself an artist.

Always remember to draw for yourself first, if you don't then I can assure you it isn't fun and that defeats the purpose of drawing altogether. If it means anything I'm always looking forward to seeing more work from you and I didn't care for the concept of the pic, though the coloring looks very nice and clean.
