How about an IMVU field to fill out as well? Not everyone here uses SecondLife. A lot of my friends here use IMVU and we wish there was an IMVU field. :)

Fender, not related to this, but I've noticed that when FA first got updated there were lightbulbs next to the names to tell if someone was online or now. They are not there anymore. Why is this?

LOL I only have the one, myself, and it's not exactly a busy site for me... yet. I want to see the commissions info page up and working, too. Right now, I have all of that stuff on my profile and, yuck, does it ever make for a godawful text-wall that I'm not sure if folks have the patience to actually read through. I tried to break it up so it's more readable, but there's only so much I can do when I don't know how to alter the colour or size of my text on the page like I've seen elsewhere. Stuck with the boring old Verdana/Arial font that's used here, too (it looks like that font, but I'm not sure if it is).

I'll likely have to do the same- tell folks what my rates for things are... I've already had to do that, even with it all on my front page. :-P One poor soul just couldn't figure it out and I answered his question about prices three times. I finally had to do the work for him, as it were, and translate our dollar to his currency. It's not like there aren't a dozen currency-calculators on the web, for crying out loud. *eye-roll*

Well, he was wanting to know the cost of stuff that I make, and like I mentioned, I told him three times. It was on the fourth try that I realized that he might be having difficulties knowing what those numbers meant since it wasn't in his currency. Both of us being dumb, there (him being lazy and not looking at my page and using a currency calculator, and me not realizing that he needed one).

furrymap.net would be cool - for those who wish to show their location. Good thing: you can be as specific or vague as you want, it not only stores where you clicked, but also your zoom level, so zooming to "world" and click somewhere in .us would show others which time zone you are in, while securely hiding your actual location.

idea! you can have 5 slots of 'custom' link-ins, for example: you get two empty boxes, ones for the URL, the others for the name of what your linking

You can just say "Ask" for all of them. o.o That way, you can screen interested parties yourself. I mean, I don't mean to sound like a prick, but there doesn't need to be an option for everything just cause it's easier. D: In the long run, being able to screen them yourself by saying "Ask." is far more effective, cause your grandparents could just create an account to bypass the no-guests thing.

Yay, this sounds like a nice update :) I had a different suggestion however, which I wanted to share and hear opinions about (hope the FA admins can take it into account).

This seems to create a lot of fields in profile info, which different user will never set... while people can't choose services not present there either. So instead, what if everyone could create their own services from a set of fields?

Currently, it's something like this: YIM: [type your address here] - Facebook: [type your address here] - And so on. My suggestion would be something like this: [type your service name here]: [type your service URL, with some way to indicate where the username comes]: [type your address here]: [Add button, adding the new entry to the Services list and refreshing].

The current services should stay as presets to make it easier (or this would become a nightmare to configure). eg: You click the YIM preset and it fills the "service name" and "service URL" fields for Yahoo, letting you just write your "address" and click the Add button. Configuring the URL of a custom service would be tricky, but users could be given a way to indicate where their username comes. For instance: If service X had the URL http://www.X.com/username/somethingelse for accessing your profile page, the system could allow specifying that as "http://www.X.com/#/somethingelse", where # would mean the value of your "address".

Just an idea that came to mind. Imo it would be better, because you wouldn't have lots of fields you wouldn't use (few people likely use all the services simultaneously). But firstly because you could specify services not present there yet, and stuff like your own web pages or communities that never will be added. Hope this can be an option for the future

Besides an IMVU field, there should so also be a Fanart Central profile field since that is another art site as well. Possibly also add LiveStream. There should also be an iScribble field as well since I know a lot of people on here who use iScribble.

I don't think Formspring is really all that necessary to be added, I know no one who uses it.

Again, I am hoping an IMVU becomes added because everyone I know uses IMVU instead of SecondLife and there are just as many furries on IMVU as there are on SL. *Hoping for IMVU* :3
