aaaahhh this is such a weird thing to think about
because everything is predetermined in a way, I mean, everybody's followed the path that their instincts have told them to follow, and it's called "history" for a reason... because the past is now all just a story
we can change the future, naturally, but we're only going to have a single future -- it's not going to branch off into different realities

so yeah
i guess destiny is set

and boy, is it just me, or do video games butcher the utter hell out of this concept D: Dunno if I've ever played an RPG that didn't mention "fate" at least once

I believe in Flow of Energy, and Will Power.

I believe all of us exert our will upon reality. The will of many people do influence your future, But if your will is stronger, You can control the flow of reality's energy. Even better- If you can make the will of many your own, You can change reality.

But it requires your will. You are, ultimately, responsible for your destiny and the achievements in your life, And you influence the destiny and achievements of every life you reach and touch.

This is my current understanding, subject to the changes of my whim and experience.

Thank you for reminding me of this and encouraging me to re-apply it into my life (at least in an indirect way).
The depression made me go blind and forget about this great power.
I feel much better now and encouraged to keep on going on with my plans of life.
Also, you gave me a tip on what I can do with this power.

It makes me glad that I am not the only one who studies power. It is overwhelming to see in a large picture, At least for me, that's where a lot of my depression comes from. Not all of it of course. Some of it is a large sum of many little things, some are my own unbalanced chemistry.

Direct your energy to today, and the resources you have and can work with right now. Have goals, sure, but don't plan further into the future then what your current resources can take you.

That last sentence makes lots of sense to me, since that's the way I see/do things, I've been a bit confused about doing that since my parents always have taught me to plan further into the future and you know that parents influences our lifes in a great way.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

I believe that everything that happens is for a reason, but I don't believe that reason to be fate. There are countless trillions of life forms on Earth and every last one of them has an effect on something else- Looking on a slightly smaller scale you could say that every human life is affected by their family, their community, their ruling body of individuals(be it kings or government), and any other ruling body that has an effect on their ruling body. In summation, I believe human "fate" is manufactured by other people's choices all across the world. Conditions that a person is born with are the only things that I will truly say are entirely by bad luck.

I don't think there's destiny.

Your actions can greatly impact your outcomes. But you don't "make your own destiny"; there will always be things that are just out of your control. Even if you just pick one thing that you want and work tirelessly toward it, maybe you'll get it and maybe you won't. Similarly, maybe you'll be the person that just achieves it with no effort whereas other people try and try but just can't get it.

Things just happen. They don't happen in an inherently structured or fair way. Your own decisions and actions are the BIGGEST factor in what happens to you, but there will always be other things, positive or negative, that will nudge you toward one thing or another. It's not destiny, it's just that everyone's experience is ... different.

You can still take control of it and still shape it toward your own goals, but where your life goes will always be an inseparable combination of things that are under your control and things that are not.

I just do whatever I think it's more proper for myself, see where it gets to, act accordingly... But I'm not worried about the future itself, or what's in store for me. I'm more concerned with the present, really :3

Let's start off with time-traveling.

Two scenarios.

What if one was not meant to tamper with time, as it would cause the chronological flow to be disrupted at an instantaneous pace upon doing so? This is the law of the world! We are not SUPPOSED to do it! Or we would end up killing ourselves, if not render nonexistence upon the face of humanity!

And

What if one was SUPPOSED to tamper with time, and cause the disruption?
Would he be considered as a fixer for altering it so? Or would he be a criminal under the pretense of violating the laws of physics, for being where he is SUPPOSED to be, as per the scenario suggests?
And if humanity does NOT disappear, what then?

People described life as being nothing more than a game, story, a half-eaten pizza or any foregone metaphor you might have come across in your lifetime.

I say, do what you want, and if it happens, it happens. Your own moral guidelines, your own perception, and your own bloody sense of direction. That,

is time-traveling simplified.

Todo depende de las circunstancias en que se den tu vida, uno puede hacer su propio destino ó dejar que el destino haga de las suyas con tu vida, pero no se puede ignorar todas las cosas que ocurren alrededor, buenas o malas, siempre van a estar presentes en la vida, unas mas que otra, unas mas manejables que otras, en fin... Para mi no hay nada escrito, pero tampoco hay un futuro perfecto. Para que hayan cosas buenas han de haber cosas malas, supongo.
