No More Free Manga?
It seems after this week a lot of the places I visit to read manga are either shutting down completely or doing some lame week long waiting period before they post and there is some openmanga thing too. It smells like Crunchyroll and their paid membership nonsense but I'm hoping wrong about that....this really blows.

So basically manga publishers in Japan are working with different foreign governments(US included) to legally take down any site that's posting translated scanalations online. It's lame and annoying and really seems like they are grasping at straws and pushing more fans away more than anything, but I say let them do what they want. If they want to limit manga to being in Japan only then that's less profits for them. Manga will continue to be scanned, translated, and distributed through torrents to anyone who wants to download them.

It sucks because I personally was enjoying a few mangas that you can't get outside of Japan and now I"ll have to rely on torrents to continue reading them.
