Okay!! if your wanting a fursuit it doesn't have to be uber expensive in order to get it. Hell I know a great fursuit maker whom has absolutely great quality work! And you can even watch as he makes it so that way you can let him know if you like it or not!
It also doesn't take him several months to make it. As long as you tell him what he's needing to here he could get your fursuit done in 3 weeks if he's actively working on it. And the only time that he wouldn't be working on it is if he had another fursuit that had to be done in a set amount of time, or if he wasn't sure where to go as far as details with the one your wanting.

I think you should, I've watched him for the past week making a fursuit off and on and he's a perfectionist when it comes to some things. And he's really nice about trying to understand what you want exactly
