I watched his "unconvienient Truth" yesterday and I'm amazed how easy it is to help mother earth
fluorecent light buls!
taking a walk instead of using the car or just taking a bus
RECYCLING!
keep your tires inflated
use warm or cold water instead of hot water (warming it uses a lot of energy)
avoid products with a lot of pakaging
degress your thermostat in winter by 2 degree and in summer raise ti by 2 degree, you might not even feel the difrence!
plant a tree!
turn off electric devices!
My own tip: the red dot on the TV the one that indicates it's on... it doesn't take too much electricity, but when we add all electricity it uses in a night... it creates a small amount of wasted electricity.... and in a time of a whole year... that's a whole lot of carbon and money wasted!
Since yesterday we use this on our TV... and I think everyone should do something for mother earth!

I'm happy I convinced my dad that it is dumb that in his workshop (he is a carpenter) he has the radio and the light on the whole time... he doesn't pay for it, but it is a waste of eelctricity so... yeah now he'll have it on only when he is inside there... having the radio on for 5 hours without anyone listen to it sure is dumb!
What irks me is the people that come around and start to say how environmentalism and global warming is all a hoax.
I'm convinced it's a hoax to the big energy companies in the same way cigarettes killing people was nonsense to the tobacco companies last century.
