Here's My Religious Rant!

Life is shit...

I hate uptight Christians...I do. When I say "Uptight Christians", I mean the ones who force it on other people, and tell them all sorts of things, like "If it doesn't praise God, then it's the Devil's work.", Death Metal is Satin's noise (or something like that), or how you have to "fear" God. I personally call bullshit on all of these things. I'll explain why.
Yes, some people say "If it doesn't praise God, it's the Devil's work." That doesn't make sense. This chair I'm sitting on doesn't "praise" God, but I highly doubt that the Devil had anything to do with it. The fan that's in my room doesn't have anything to do with God, but it also doesn't mean I worship the Devil.
As, a huge fan of death metal, metal, hard rock, ect. I get annoyed when people say "Hey! That's Satin's music" Well first off, if it is He's got good taste, but it's not. Secondly why? Metal is very heavy, and loud, but not all metal is "satanic". Take "Salvation Denied" by Kingdom of Sorrow. It's a heavy metal song, but it's not evil. It's a song about how people say that if you kill yourself you go to hell, but some people don't believe this. "Starting Over" by Killswitch Engage is metal, but it has nothing to do with evil. It's about starting over a relationship with a fresh start. I ask you what's so bad about that? Yes I admit some songs are very satanic, but not all of them.
This next topic really upsets and confuses me. Some religious leaders/followers say "You must FEAR God". That doesn't sound like a "Loving" and "kind" God to me. Can we love what we fear? Would it be love? Or would it be respect? In my point of view it sounds like God is a 5 year old that desperately wants things his way or he'll throw a tantrum.
I know I'm going to Hell for saying all these things, but according to these people, so is everyone else. So I'll see you there. And if you get the same pit as me, don't be shy to say "Hello"
