Karma's a bitch

I spent two years mooching off of Kody. He doesn't call it mooching, but that's what it was. I wasn't working and he was supporting me, and buying me things I wanted. It's not that I wanted a free ride, I just didn't want to work at the time. I know that doesn't make it sound any better but I had my reasons.
Well, I have a job now, and Kody hasn't worked for like a month. He's still employed, but his job hasn't been able to find steady work, so he's been home for almost a month, not working at all. It's putting a strain on us financially and my entire paychecks have been going to rent, bills, etc whereas before only a portion of it was going towards expenses and the rest I was able to freely spend. Not to mention my boss has been working me like five or six days in a row and that is also draining. I don't know how much more I can take of working myself to the bone and having little to nothing to show for it.
I suppose I do deserve this, though. :\

I think it is necessary to teach us humility and perseverance, I am very grumpy with money matters too. But both Wez and myself have been financially insecure at our own times and at times simultaneously. It sucks but just remember that all things are temporary. Karma should be a teacher, not a bitch.

You're absolutely correct on all points. :) Sorry about the terrible rant but I just needed to vent. One of the things Buddhism teaches (other than karma, of course) is that nothing is permanent. I was just having a bad morning... :P Thank you for the inspirational words!

*hugs* Karma is real and does suck, but as Dog over man said, it is a teacher and will not be permanent. Things will get better. *hugs again*
