Can't cook eggs...

I tried cooking eggs in a pan for the first time this morning... (Yeah... I'm not very independent XD sigh..)
I forgot to put oil in the pan, and the heat was on too high. I burned them and the pan has egg stuck all over it, which sucks because I wash the dishes in this house.
I ate them, but they tasted like fish. :(

XD Don't worry, I've had a similar experience with pancakes and not always flipping them at the right time the very first time I made them.
