Hey look, I added 'teaching intelligent design' to the curriculum in 2 sentences. Why do these people want to put days into the curriculum devoted to this? Anything more than what I said would have a damn hard time being secular and an even harder time of presenting the 'information' without being pushy with the belief. And that's what it is; a belief.

the thing however is that these people don't want to be secular and if they dint have the government to worry about they wouldn't. after all the guy pushing the idea said "we have to take a stand for Jesus".

the controversy over ID is less about the subject mater and more about religion in the classroom. the people who tend to be pro ID want to see there religious views toght in public schools, were as the pro science and evolution tend to be pushing for a more secular system.

I find it amusing that proponents of ID think that secular subject matter is being 'pushed' the way that they would push religion if they had the chance, when secular by definition means not pushing anything.
