Fursuits and Snow Awesomeness!

This is Vixen, Signing in...
So some of you will have noticed the submissions i posted of the custom snowboarding fursuits i made for myself and my mate crazy! Very simple compared to my regular suits, but i wasnt sure how well they'd hold up in extreme mode XD But sure enough, they have survived the rain, snow, ice, and crashes that go along with snowboarding!! X3 I may upgrade to better looking ones one day! =3
We went to Perisher all last week for a Ski week in which Crazy was competing in, I got to stay on the snow and bum around there while crazy was with his group of... i dunno? 80 or so down at Jindabyne! The first few days were beautiful! Full sun all day but hard as ice snow, so not very good to land on ^^;; The last 2 days saw rain, which made it slow to ride, but alot softer landings XD and compared to the beginning of the week, alot of it melted away >.>.... AND of course, practically just after we left, it decided to snow, and i mean SNOW! 65cm in 24hrs? Thats a F*^CK tonne!!(for Aus) It would have been sooo good to have that! And also with all that snow they opened up the whole place! when we were there alot of trails and traverses where closed X.x arr well.. Moving on!
In less then 2 weeks time Crazy and I will he headed to NZ to snowboard! We hear that once you've boarded/skied else where than AUS you'll never want to do it here again! XD But, I think i'll still like home even if its crap compared to other places...(also cheaper to travel within your own country!)
We'll be ripping it up at Wanaka and the Remarkables which hopefully will be EXTREMELY AWESOME! XO
Tomorrow our new batch of eggs are due to hatch from the incubator! Our current chooks are 27weeks old this week and being awesome as always (you may have noticed the chook photos too i put up! XP) ANywho, the new lot isnt for us, they are for Crazy's muma cause her newest chooks got eaten/killed by a foxy ;_; We hopefully get to keep a few....^-^
UMMM.. not a whole lot else going on besides making fursuits ^_^ all going well too! My fur samples come tomorrow! yey!

And I was there too! Shoulda called and hung out and stuff. D=
And no, I didn't see anyone wearing a snowjacket-cum-fursuit. Although someone in my group did have a raccoon helmet.
I swear at the rate things are going, I never will. Then again I'd probably end up with frostbite and hyperphermia, and possibly the cold/flu for months on end. Maybe I'm allergic to cold weather. XD
