Music to drive Very Very Fast to
Anyone got some suggestions? I'm trying to put together a CD. To qualify, it has to be the sort of song that you cannot listen to while driving without cruise control, or you will redline your engine.
So far I think I have Blood Sugar, the pendulum mix of Voodoo People, some motorhead, some Joe Stump, some Offspring.
Ultimately, I have a vehicle planned that I plan to skim across a lake. If it does that well enough, some day I want to see if I can pull off a crossing of the english channel with it, because why not? it's insane, and I want a nice little playlist of Music to drive Very Fast To to help keep my foot stomped to the floor
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PW9gNaPDghw yes, it works. It's just never been tried on this scale with a car built with pulling it off in mind, that sand rail is built for climbing, lots of low end torque, not enough sheer gofast.

But for driving fast, I like this stuff:

Pretty much all of The Circle Jerks' "Group Sex" album. "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables" by Dead Kennedys. The Ramones and Rollins Band are pretty hit or miss - I love all their stuff, but some of their songs are a little too slow for good driving music.
"Ballroom Blitz" by The Sweet. "Orgasm Addict" by The Buzzcocks is a personal favorite. "TV Party" by Black Flag. "Cut Chemist Suite" by Ozomatli - come to think of it, a lot of Ozomatli would work as driving music. Check 'em out if you haven't, they're good.
Still, I'll look into all of that.
