Hmm....Not sure.

Artificial fur is acrylic- so it doesn't like to absorb color well.
I've heard mixed results of using paints- the big complaint is that it tends to rub off and not be permanent.

Some folks have suggested spirit dye, like whats used for staining leather.
I'd experiment with that on test swatches first, and let it dry for some time. Then torture test it for smearing and rubbing off/running.

i was thinking i might just do a test run with sharpie dye and see how that works
