Well, its time i posted this, i just recently lost my dad to cancer.....he passed away on July 27th 2010, at 8:30am, he was cremated and placed in a wall at the Veterans Cemetery today, it was a small funeral service, but there were more people there then i would have thought, he spent 20 years in the Marines, he retired as Gunnery Sargent John E Siggins of the Air Division, him and my mom had been together since she was 15, they were together for 46 years, married 43 of those years, he was 36 when i was born, so they had me late in life, he was given a 21 gun salute and taps, mom got presented with his flag and a few other things, plus the apperciation of the Government and the President (no, none showed up), its still hard to believe he's gone, but mom and i will carry on and live our lives to their fullest.......btw i have some of his ashes in a crystal bottle with 3 shards of his birth stone, if anyone is interested, i can post pics later......but for now....WoW timez
