Streaming on Macs?

So yeah. My friend's gonna try and hook me up with a job at her place of work. [Hotel restaurant as a hostess or some crap]
Now. I need a new computer. Mine is a crappy, old Dell. The monitor is going, and despite being fixed less than a year ago [for the third time, I might add] it's still acting up and being stupid.
No. I don't wanna build my own. No. I don't really want another PC. Yes. I want a Mac.
No. I do not shun PC users or lovers. It's perfectly fine for you to like what you like, however, in return I'd like to be respected with what I like.
Please don't trash talk Macs or try to talk me out of one. My mind is made up, and I really want one. Please respect that and talk to me like a mature person, thank you.
I just wanna know, how many mac users stream while doing digital art? Is it possible? Is it only possibly with traditional art?
What's the dealio? Can you give me advice? :)
The Mac I was looking into is the iMac 21.5 inch desktop. [My eyes would love that :P]
[Depending on if I get this job or not. I might also get a PC laptop down the road. I'unno.]

Also, I think I may have asked you before but...MSN? You have it for your Mac aye? Or were you on Meebo or something?
Occassionally it will have to reconnect, and Livestream itself can get annoying, but it's simple and effective.
I hunted around for streaming programs, and that was the one I settled on.
It lets you stream your desktop and webcam (For digital and traditional art respectively), and it even has a mode to let you stream fullscreen games.
If you use Ustream then you will need a webcam "emulator" to capture your desktop and make Ustream believe that thing is a webcam. Try the one SkittleCupcakes mentioned.
