Genus and species... Taxonomy 101

Hello everyone,
Just a minor observation and potential gripe, but is it me or is the "species" drop down list for submissions a bit lop sided? Granted that they have a pretty good grasp of Family Felidae, but no Family Cervidae (Deer and Moose) or Family Sciuridae (flying and nonflying squirrels). Heck, there seem to be quite a few unicorn pictures but for some reason, we're not listed. And I am sure that there are plenty more not listed, and for sanity sake, I know they can only list so many. I'm not asking for them to break it down to "Kingdom, Phylum, Class, etc." but at least a few more Families or Genera could be added. Okay, time to get off my soapbox. Anyone for some grilled Ailuropoda melanoleuca?

Anyway, I think I read somewhere in the forums that the current "tag" system would get scrapped when and if they got a working search function here, since it would not be the old failed system that the tags were made for.
