Settling in

Well, I've been in my apartment for over a week now, with my furniture finally having arrived a week later then they initially told me on the 9th. I've gone through 16 boxes with another 40 to go, but I need to decide on what type of bookshelves to get to store alot of it. I might finally bite the bullet and just throw away alot of the stuff I'd been hoping to sell that I didn't want to keep toting around with me.
Once I get more stuff set up, like my pictures and such, I'm planning to take some pics for my friends. I took one of my living room but I'm still arranging stuff so it'll be a bit different with time.
BTW... anyone done data entry work? I was thinking of taking an Excel class and looking for some part time work doing that, but unsure how 'secure' a job it is. Seems mostly temp work, which makes me wonder if you'd have to join a temp agency to get it or if you could 'freelance'.

Congrats on the move man. I hear about as much good going for data entry as graphic design the last few years, and the things in common is that companies don't hire folks directly, but farm out the jobs to smaller companies to try and save money via out-sourcing. If you're looking for steady work, have got a clean record, all your fingers and toes, and a drivers license then your best bet might be to get a job in cargo/shipping, or homeland security.
