1) What’s your fursona’s name and how did you come up with it?
Alsatian is the latin word for german shepherd. It exactly says who I feel inside.
I was looking for a name discribing myself and I thought latin could maybe do that. That's how I discovered this name.
2) What species is your fursona and why?
A german shepherd. I have always loved shepherds, and I do recognize myself in them (loyal, protective, strong, intelligent, willful to learn and eager to have a purpose).
I chose german because my family originates from the germans centuries ago.
3) Is your fursona based off a preexisting character? (Like a Pikachu or Renamon)
Nope.
4) How old is your fursona and how long has it been since you created your fursona?
Just as old as me. I gave my fursona form about a year ago.
5) Does your fursona have a background? If so, please share!
A german shepherd seeking wisdom in the world, hoping to find new friends along the way.
Alsatian lives in a fantasy medieval world, being a warrior for his whole life. Doing his best for his family, friends and dreams.
Although he does his best, he can sometimes be clumsy, making mistakes from time to time. But he learns from it, and grows wiser by the day.
Alsatian is always in for a challenge, looking to better himself. Most of the time he's a serious guy, but he tries to find more fun in life and becoming more relaxed. Finding peace within himself.
6) What does your fursona wear?
There are 2 versions of me: the present version, which is just me in normal clothing (do prefer jeans though x3).
The second version and actually my favorite is my medieval fantasy character:
This version wears germanlike armor with the symbol of love, passion and loyalty on it. He also has a necklace with the symbol of love and friendschip. He has two jambiya-like swords at his belt.
The backside of his tail is black, flowing with the back of his chest. His face is black till the edge of his eyes, leaving the forehead lightbrown.
7) How do you relate to your fursona? Does he sound like you, look like you, act like you? Details please!
In many ways he's identical to me. But the difference between him and me is that Alsatian is like a better/future version of me.
Many traits are like a bit better and most important, he's more peacefull. He enjoys life and lives really in the beauty of the present.
I do know now that I have grown more and more towards that person. That I have become better and really live more peacefull. I am really proud and happy with that.
8) Name one trait about your fursona you like the most and one trait you dislike the most.
That he doesn't give up, just like me. I have heard before that I got much willpower, and that people would have been astound if they know who I was at first.
But it is also a weakness, some mistakes and problems wouldn't have happened if he/me wasn't that stubborn.
9) What is your reason for creating your fursona?
I have learned that a person can become a much better person, if he knows what could be improved about himself, giving himself a purpose and with that, wisdom.
So I gave myself a purpose by creating my fursona, it gives me stability and confidence.
Furthermore I want to create a comic with this character in it. So I still think about new things and as I would like to say: upgrades. :3
10) If you could become your fursona by tagging at least 10 people, would you do it?
"Who doesn't?" I sometimes think x3. But I would surely do it. ^^
