I have been using Crayola pencils. What brand are you using?

Now I'm using Rose Art, and I'm not sure if its the pencils or the sketchpad paper thats making it come out better.

I have been using computer paper but it's the thick expensive ones. I probably should try some real sketch paper and see if it makes a difference. I have some Rose Art pencils and I couldn't make them work for me. They felt like regular pencils that happen to have colors. So more pressure is the key? If you found a new technique to draw at a higher level, I'll love to see them. Your current art is already awesome.

Thank you :D The new Venom Adventure piece and the Blue mutant bear thing is the new style, I didn't end up making a dark line or something where I didn't want one and had to cover it up with sharpie. That also might just be my skills improving.

I've seen this happen with the younger artist. Your skills will improve a lot more at an accelerated rate. I love seeing the artist here get better. Even if it mean everyone gets better than I am.

Its a fun evolution process.
