Go see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World!
I've seen it twice so far. I guess I'm one of the uber-fans that really want to support the film and really wish it was doing better at the box office! I love the video game world physics of the comic along with how all the characters play off each other. It really is a faithful adaptation to the story, leaving just a bunch of fun extras for you to read for yourself later on.
Also, I bought both soundtracks. The original music along with the great garage band feel of the headlining songs really set the mood for the whole thing and really make it feel epic.
It's funny and whipcrack smart, romantic and rated almost as high as Inception on Rotten Tomatoes.
Why aren't more people seeing this awesome movie??! I want to fight for it!

Too bad it's gotten swept aside by the likes of The Expendables. :/
Saw it with a bunch of friends, and as far as I know all of them loved it, too.
actually I'm kinda hoping it doesn't do too well in boxoffices. that way it'll hit DVD sales quicker! :3
I DID love the movie, though. Hell, if I can, I'll double-feature Inception and Scott Pilgrim if Inception's still showing.
Best movie of the year in my opinion. Inception right behind it.
The movie was amazing though, and even if they land shy of budget, I'm sure they'll recoup with DVD sales. ^_^
Oh look at that, its payday! Oh Amazon!
The style reminds me of No More Heroes, so that's got me pumped to see it.
Tomorrow I may look for the graphic novel, which I hear is really good, though with a different ending.
I'm waiting a week or two to go see it when I can use my free movie rental on it. Hate that I can't use it on a new movie. Hopefully it's still in theater by then :\
I need to go see it :3.
SOOOOOOO SAAAAAD
thank you...
For some reason, my Galaxy Cinema is NOT getting that movie. Why? WHY? I have to go all the way to another town just to go see it!
It's quite simply the most fun movie I've seen in years. I haven't laughed so much at anything in recent memory.
Even the shared experience of groaning at M. Night Syamalan's name during the preview for Devil contributed to the great experience of this movie. I plan on getting the DVD on day one.
I'm just so confused that it's not playing on more screens here in London, given that the creator is from here. Usually that gives things a bit of a boost here.
HE PUNCHED OUT ALL HER HIGHLIGHTS!!
Sex Bob-omb is now one of my favourite bands. Thanks, Beck! :D
I guess I just cannot get the vile level of hate leveled at Cera to begin with.. but maybe it's just that people around here like their action heroes to be.. well, everything you see in something like the Expendables.. not the socially awkward geeky type.. you know.. like.. in reality. Guess it was hitting too close to home for that crowd.
Oh well, I"ll have a nice home right next to my Speed Racer blu ray.
Saw it with Seph n' Geemo back on opening weekend, and can safely say it was well worth the cash.
I also like all the music references.
Like he wears two Smashing Pumpkins shirts,

Also, there was music from an obscure band I like called "Holy Fuck."
It's gotten some discussion on Auntie Beeb so maybe it'll be more of a sucess outside America.
(ok. it helps that i have a massive crush on michael cera. this year seems to be the year of the "crushes on young cute awkward geek boys" (i guess some of that is redundant), seeing as i'm crushing on jesse eisenberg too. :)
sigh. i'm such a dirty old cougar ;P
Also, you should really take a look at the Videogame if you haven't already.
