Attention.

Good evening.
I'd like to take the opportunity to clear a few matters up.
Firstly, I am not, and nor have I ever, taken money and run away as some would like to accuse me of.
Secondly, I am not dead.
Thirdly, sending repeated private messages will not incline me to get XXX done any faster than would be done normally. I recommend those parties intent upon this strategy to abandon this approach.
Fourthly, I am no longer in risk of being thrown out on the street. I have a steady job. Am no longer desperately in need of money. I will not ask for aid through commissioning art again.
Fifthly, I have not forgotten that some people have been waiting for over a year for certain projects to be completed. I am slowly making my way through this work on the side, but it will take some time. I will begin posting regular updates on the matter.
Sixthly, every person who commissioned me and has been patient with my long stretch of difficult times will be rewarded with a $50 voucher that can be used towards another commission, or towards my print store when it becomes available sometime in the next six months.
Seventhly, I still intend to give prizes out for the VoCT competitors as previously stated. They will, however, have to wait until I have acquired my Epson Stylus Pro 4880. Then, they will recieve their prints as promised.
Finally, this has not exactly been fun for me. I understand that it's no fun to lose money and recieve nothing for it in return, but it's even less fun to owe others good work while struggling through fits of self-inadequacy, not to mention severe financial, psychological, and family problems, to put it briefly.
I hope you can find it within yourselves to give me a little more patience as I try to fight my way to a position that is less... indebted. It's not a process that can be done overnight, even if I didn't have a full-time job to work at.
That is all.

I've noticed the key concept is to just attempt to maintain available or in contact. However RL things easily disrupt that =3
Glad to hear your not dead :D
Without a home, computer, and internet, noone would get their art. Everything I have done I have done in the interest of furthering my art.
Glad your in a stable situation now. Never fun to have crap coming in from all angles, even with the best will in the world and great intentions nobody can cope with that for long.
I'm always around if you ever need to chat, or just rant :)
*Slade steals Haer away <3*
Like Danza said, just being made available or keepin' in contact is good enough for some people(within reason XD). :3 If they're still irate and hounding you about art after that, fuck em. They're not exactly paragons of humanity themselves now, are they, if a picture means more to them than someone's physical and mental well being?
Good to see stuff's picked up and hasn't gone down the plug hole :)
Good job on getting a job! I assume that's where a lot of your time has gone.
Hang in there!
Hope things go well for you!
I hope ya all got it all good there
if you're going to be at FWA this coming year, I can just wait and bug you for mine at the convention ^^
