Well...to step in on this I'd need to know a little more specific on what your friend is expecting? Does he want updates on what exists in games or gameplay or what?

Just the kind of news you see on the web all the time. Anything you find interesting.

None of the game news I come across is any newer than what most people have already seen.

Whether its posted somewhere else or not doesn't really matter as long as you stay up to date.

I've heard of similar online article/review sites where people are payed to play games and write a review. Nice ;)

Not so much reviews, though there is opportunity for that too. Primarily just compiling everything you hear about individual games. As well as opinions :)

I've actually had some editorials and news posts on video games published. I've had my work featured on Gamasutra.com and Gamepolitics.com.

I like to focus on more editorial content and am also looking into maybe doing a podcast with some people if possible.

meh so much for that as far as anyone knows Blizzard ent. only competition this year will be War Hammer though it is hard to say if people will leave World of Warcraft's easy controls and already established dominance in the market ^.^;

If I had the money to gain a wider access to the various video games out there, I'd opt in. Unfortunately, that and my video game news sources are painfully public to all.

I would be interested, but I have a bad habit of lagging behind on the video game news for a few weeks and then all of a sudden getting all my info straight. I'm more of a game review writer though. Hope you find someone!

I have great writing skills, and I've taken an advanced course in journalistic writing. It's not my major, but I do have a passion for writing, and I'm something of a grammar fanatic.

Has this friend of yours got a website, or better yet, a craigslist posting that might have more information regarding the site we'd be writing reviews for, what he's looking for in his game review writers, and what exactly he's offering as easy money?

i do retro gamin and have done for twelve years nearly thirteen if he needs someone in the area of reviews on that stuff i'll see wat i can do i don't have the internet but i have access to it
