When I was a mere cub, I lived in Big Spring. I remember it would be very hot during the day, but it got down to like 55 at night.

Now I'm in central Virginia, where it bakes in the 80s and 90s through most of the summer, but gets no lower than the 70s at night, and occasionally stays in the 80s.

Which is worse, central Virginia or west Texas?
