God this town is driving me insane

as the title states, this town boasts a population of apx. 3600 people.
Its the pimple on the mole, on the ass end of Canada, right next to the freezer.
Hay River, grr.....
For those of you have seen Ice pilots NWT, Yes, it is that Hay River. and buffalo Joe is really that cool.
Any way, the only reason i'm up here is to visit my Dad and Step ma. 's the only reason i put up with the town.
everything costs more, (now i don't mean a few cents, i mean by a wide margin), here's an example; In Calgary, AB, a pack of Export A cigarettes costs $13.75 (last I checked anyway. I quit so i don't know current prices). In Hay River, the same pack of smokes costs $15.75.
At North mart (used to be apart of the Hudson's bay company) They tried to sell me an Xbox 360 pre-paid 1400 points card....for $34.99
wtf? it cos 19.99 for those points almost anywhere else, and 39.99 for 2800 points. they tried to sell me 15 dollars worth of mark up. *Rage*
*sigh* town high lights: Swimming pool, theater... um yeah
Getting tired of the unreliable power system.
Well, at least I get ta see my dad ^.=.^
