no really i'm a lazy artist and i get overwhelmed easily and i'm trying to correct it but

Ahaha, I get the overwhelmed easily part. Then I just stress and stress and stress until I get discouraged. Coupled with the fact I'm already pretty slow...

I've already messed up on the pledge once, but ugh. If I have to, I'll hire somebody to shock me whenever I say, "Well, I could do a COUPLE more."

Thankfully, nobody has ever bugged me about commission status! The closest was someone asking for an update on the status of a website I'm designing, which is perfectly reasonable, and he was perfectly polite about it.
