I need to get ahold of the actual story, I read it this morning, but apparently an older fellow I worked with was arrested two days ago. Why? Rape. 22 different charges, all on minors...all of which are his grandchildren.
He told me first time we met that I reminded him of his granddaughter. With a big ol' smile and twinkle in his eye. I thought he was just bein' a sweet ol' man....but now I feel slightly ill.
I've worked alongside this guy for four months, seen him at least three days a week, talked with him all friendly like. He always seemed a little creepy, but most old guys are creepy ol' pervs. They like to look here and there, but yea. Not him....

I'm in Ohio. And I think its illegal, unless its self defense.
He's being held with bail set at 150k. i don't think he's going anywhere soon...and hopefully he'll be found guilty at trial. Urgh. Sick sick sick!
Oh, I will post up the real story later, once I find it again. I read it this morning in the paper in the break room at work...
That's so insane that you're were working with this man and that he'd make a comment towards you that's essentially NOM NOM NOM. How horrible for his grandchildren.. least he's where he belongs now. '___`

I live in Conneaut, OH. The guy is from Ashtabula. And I think the paper is printed in Ashtabula, but I could be wrong. It covers the entire county anyway.
Guys name is Lewis...something with an M I think. He went by Lou at work, so I didn't recognize it was about him, until I got to the end where it said he worked at Wal-Mart. Creepy stuff.

It disturbs me to no end because I know a few people who have been molested as children. And...ugh, I do not need to stress over this, I am just glad they caught the jerk. *shudders* Ewww indeed.
And the whole raped and molested thing hits close to home for me as well. But thats a subject best left out of the public eye.
Even more so than that ol' rape/murder in my old appartment building. I didn't know any of the people involved, so it was just scary, but this time, yea. I knew the bad guy.
