NaNo Novel: Here Falls The Thunder
So, recently saw some of the trailers, and lemme tell you, I am psyched to see this movie. But really, I've seen a few journal and the YT trailer vids are full of people just whining and bitching about how "this isn't Resident Evil why would Capcom allow this?!" I have just one thing to say:
Deal with it.
Honestly, the games were never that spectacular. They were only Survival Horror up until RE:4, and even then, RE:3 had Mercenaries, which was all about killing everything that moved. Code Veronica had it's Gun Attack mode too. The movies are being done in the vein of 4 and 5, which have very obviously moved out of the "Survival Horror" genre of games. Long gone are the days when Lickers crawled past windows and Dogs burst through windows.
Now it's about the visual horror, more than the psychological horror. The games clearly fall under "Action/Horror" now, and the movies are an emulation of that. But don't complain about how the movies are a travesty or an abomination to the franchise, when the franchise itself was moving in that direction LONG before the movies.
That said, I'm totally gunna see it :3

I was sorta upset, playing 4, seeing that the enemies were no longer zombies. Still fun games, though!
i gave up years ago!
and hey, that's fine with me, but I want my F-ing suitcase back. 9 slots is not enough, most certainly on higher modes where both need to wear both armors to have any decent chance at surviving without cheats.
