Personally I wouldn't imagine that it feels particularly pleasant, but I don't know how the different biology affects sensations.

I'm personally inclined to think that any form of expansion would approach a sensory overload, as most of the nerves are being fired off in a concentrated area at once, almost like pining a server so much that it lags horribly.

Breasts are can be very sore and tender as they grow naturally. I hate to think how they would feel if they were inflated by force. *_* ow

Hmmm, interesting, so when they grow naturally the breasts become sore. Would that be soreness as a result of structural tension or would it be related to heightened sensitivity?

For me at least, it seems to be a result of the skin being pulled because it can't keep up with the tissure underneath. It's a fairly unpleasant feeling.

What of internally though? Skin tension is never a pleasant feeling but in cartoons it can be ignored for the sake of the related pleasurable sensation. That is to say, if the pain itself was no longer a factor what would it feel like?

The tissue underneath is still tender. Remember growing pains during the beginning of puberty? It's kind of like that but in a breast instead. I think the pleasure aspect comes in more from the feeling of fullness and voluptuousness that comes from having large, soft breasts. Kind of like a psychological sort of thing.

BE is just out of those fetishes that doesn't work in real life very well. But oh my, is it a nice fantasy plot device <3

I suppose for clarity's sake it would have to be assumed that no physical damage would take place, as with other forms of cartoon inflation.

Growing breasts tend to get overly sensitive, to the point of sharp needlely pain, shooting around mostly from the nipples, or at least that's what my experience is and then return to normal, then do it again. Over and over until they stop growing.

Ironic question Mif, when you think about it, since males actually possess anatomy that *ahem* inflates.

True, but the skin around... that area is designed to be a little more elastic than the rest.

It would hurt, the same way tentacle rape would, doesn't mean it has to be drawn as a painful experience :3

I'm with Pathia. Painful. cause when they swell, they hurt cause the skin is being stretched.

Pain and pleasure both are just pressure on the skin sensed by nerve endings. I imagine in real life it would be painful. That's why rubberization or supernatural powers are always stressed in my particular drawings; just to reassure the impression that everything's okay.

I'm just asking because I've got a rather large upload in the works and the main subject is having her breasts inflated. She's drawn as though she's really enjoying it and I was curious as to how believable a response like that would be (assuming painless).

From the responses I'm getting the impression that women's breasts don't experience substantially different sensation than do males.

The skin on the penis is loose and very elastic to accomadate the size difference. Skin on the breast is taut like skin over a bicep. There's some give but you can imagine that pulling and stretching the skin on your arm to the limit would hurt like hell. Besides, penises have developed to inflate rapidly, breasts haven't. But imagine if your penis suddenly grew while it was erect, but the skin didn't grow with the muscle tissue. OWWIE!

Okay... realistically... ANY inflation would probably feel uncomfortable at best and painful at worst. The more sensitive whatever is inflated, the less pleasant its bound to be. Unless its a place without any nerves, in which case nothing is felt. Well... that... And you could probably pump a fair amount of air into your ass or mouth without it being particularly agonizing. But not up to situations where you begin to look particularly balloonish, I'd think.

However, given the tastes of the majority far as I've always been able to gage, you'd probably be best off just drawing a bunch of orgasmic expressions if you want to do any art with it.

Though of course there is an audience for less... pleasant... stuff too.

You might want to practice drawing internal ruptures then... But thats not the point. If we are picking nits like that so many furry stuff becomes impossible. Just draw/write whatever feels right.

I'm not one for breast inflation really, but I do agree with the wondering how it would feel. Being a girl myself, and into a *bit* of stomach inflation or the sort, I can honestly tell you that I think about it in certain.. situations, and it feels wonderful. It does enhance how I feel, and its odd to think/say, but I do feel as though its actually happening if I think about it hard enough XD Of course if this was possible it probably would hurt to a certain extent. I guess the same would be for breast inflation: ow. But if you put aside the pain and imagin it as if we never felt any pain, I expect it would be quite a pleasant experience. XD

Good to know there is appeal for it. I'm generally averse to the breast inflation stuff since I'd imagine it to be uncomfortable. But from all this feedback it seems to have the same properties as any other inflation. This means I've got to get better at imagining those sensations.

Actually...

There's times in real life when a woman's breast grows suddenlly, though not to a huge degree- Most notablly when arroused, a woman's breast grow slightlly larger, as blood rushes to them (This is why nipples grow errect), in those circumstances the sensation is samewhat pleasant, because its expansion within the body's tolerance for it: the breast was literally designed to expand in this way, similar to a penis expands- also, the net effect is the same- the breast becomes more sensitive to stimulation.

The problem is when you start reaching threshholds that the body is not designed to take- which BE is alll about. Since the breast was not designed to expand to those sizes that fast, it would naturally be painful. This is why most BE fantasies involve creatures who can alter themselves naturally, or people who've been altered to allow such huge expansions without discomfort, be it magic, science, mutation, or whatever.

Realistically, BE is just an expansion upon a real phenomina most are ignorant about (Most woman increase less than a cup size when arroused, so few people notice, but it does happen), anyhow, that's my overview of it: If you're a normal, unaltered human, BE would most likelly be horrible and painful, but if you were somehow adapted to allow further expansion naturally, it'd probablly minorly pleasant and increase the sexual sensitivity of the breasts.

Think about it this way. Ask a woman at hooters about how they feel about big breasts. They would probably say it hurts their back. I wouldn't know for sure b/c I'm a man.

There is the real life fettish of filling parts of the body with Saline Injections. From what I understand it's extremely painful (you're stretching the skin, after all), and if you've ever had even a ingrown hair or massive pimple/growth that's formed in a day or less, you know that it just doesn't stop hurting after it's stopped growing. I guess "infection" of some sort would or does increase the pain

I guess the Saline Injections would be the closest to what you're describing? But that's just from a male point of view...

Maybe a little off-topic but I always assumed that in fantasy the streching of breasts by inflation would be sorta the same as any feeling of fullness experienced during um.. normal intercourse? At least that is how I always considered hyper, just some form of magic/technology allowing a person to heighten and prolong the feeling of fullness and intensity that comes with taking /just/ about as much as they can manage.. >.>

Good point. If she was a cartoon that would be an advantage at the end of the day to unwind and take a load off of her back.

The amount of pain one would feel would probably be determined on how the skin stretches. If ther breasts inflate while the skin is grwoing new cells to compensate, it shouldn't be too painful, I'd imagine. Just a bit more heavy.
