I recommend buying the soundtrack! It's only a dollar (at the least) and you get some cute art to go along with it!

The music reminds me sometimes of Zelda, sometimes of Megaman.

That picture got me into the game a few days ago. I dunno if I'd call it any where near I Wanna be the Guy tough, but it has a lot more style and heart and an original OST going for it.
My brother played the music for me at first, and I instantly fell in love with it. Played the game like crazy for three days straight, and while not playing I left it on and let the music play haha
Haven't touched it for a while now, but I love how it's just so easy to pick up and play a couple of minutes.
Definitely need to buy the soundtrack~
