It was 20 years ago today that this LEGEND SRV passed from this world, The ABSOLUTE Best guitarist that ever lived. No comparison at all. No metal head, thrasher, or rock guitarist can even hold Stevie's guitar pic for him, but what shown through more than his playing, was SRV's absolute Humility.
All through the Austin City Limits concert on DVD, you see Stevie having fun with the crowd, by mugging huge grins at them, or just hitting some chords with a small smile that only he knows, before exploding into the next song.
At the end of Austin City limits Superstition, he tells the crowd "Thank you much kindly"
with the smile that is genuine.
And the final song, Riveria Paradise, is just jaw dropping.

Thank you Stevie, you are STILL sadly Missed.

Funny, I had SRV music on the brain today. A toast to a life and legacy none should ever forget.
