People say writing / drawing / some sort of creative outlet, but I find that doesn't help when I'm angry unless I post it somewhere for a lot of people to see.

Sadness? Cry. Let it out. I assume by your "fursona" that you're male, so all I can say is don't be afraid to show this emotion. Men are just as emotional as women, but they seem to think they have to hide it. Don't. Cry. Sob. Wail about it. It helps.
Once you've calmed down, confront the problem; talk to the people that made you feel this way.
Then reward yourself with something like a professional massage. Avoid tangible goods.
Also, for right now, avoid eating. Your digestive system shuts down when you're upset.
