so i went to the doctor this Wednesday and had some blood tests done because my mom was worried i was displaying symptoms of Diabetes and wanted to make sure i didn't have it. well i got a call yesterday from my doctor and my blood tests came back clear for Diabetes however my blood had a abnormal amount of liver enzymes in it which since i hadn't been drinking or taking any sort of medication that could cause that result its become a bit of a concern... especially seeing as how due to my gene pool on my mother's side i am technically a carrier of the Mitochondrial DNA mutation that can causes Parkinsonism in males.
bright side is only females can carry the gene so my unlikely future offspring are safe.
but on the down side I myself have a good chance of getting it...
and the liver enzymes can be a early sign of that gene becoming active.
now given i take good care of my body i should be able to ride out the 25+ years of being at a high risk for this condition.
but if shit hits the fan were looking at going blind, possibly loosing some motor functions, the works...
GREAT!!!!!
