Please follow this link and take the survey: be as honest and truthful as possible.

Further, please post the above link in your own journal: the more furs who take it, the better informed we will be!
I'll disclose the results in one month.
Edit Note:
This poll is primarily to get an idea of what the fandom is willing to do over what the artist/ programmers are willing to do it for. The info is not just for me, but a few other people I know who have considered a similar idea.

A furry video game in 3d, on the other hand, is something I can't see being something as a solo project unless it's a simple flash programmed game (i.e. Itoril projects). It's undoubtedly something a whole team of people would have to work on together or else the workload is just plain excessive and would make it something that falls apart after a while or something that takes years to complete.
If you personally haven't done an animated series, I'd say stick to that as it's easier. If you don't consider it a challenge in the slightest, then work up to a full blown video game.
Don't get me wrong, a 3D furry video game would be amazing, but is it a practical work load?
And back in the day (Ugh - I sound so old...), some of the best games were made by those that had teams of about 5 or 6 people. But there was always a 1 or 2 main drivers behind them, so it was quite possible to make games on their own.
Of course, nowadays, everything has to be difficult. Teams are as big as 200+ people, and games/animations can take years for whatever reason. I know there are still single person indies out there making their own thing, but they are kind far and few in between.
As far as a time frame goes on a game, I would expect it to take, at a minimum, two years to get something you could show people. Depending on the type of game produced it could easily take three years to get to a point where it's moderately playable and more perfecting it.

Most Fighting games, and platformers don't take too long to produce a prototype. Working with 3D in games can be troublesome as I have come to fiind out. If you do, best to use Rendered sprites made from 3D models. That way the programmer has less to worry about.
Then again, The only 3D engine I have worked with is the Unreal Engine, and only cosmetic changes and level design at that.
