Please forgive my ignorance, but what sets this apart from other Halo games? Not trying to be a hater, here, I'm genuinely curious. I don't have a 360, so I haven't been following Reach at all. I've only played the 1st game on PC.
Forge (Bungies map editor) gets a MASSIVE overhaul along with general improvements sprinkled throughout it's other core features such as theater. Firefight (Halos horde mode) is now completely customizable, so you can control what you fight, as well as several other game factors such as damage and AI accuracy for instance, the game now has Loadouts which allow you to select different abilities on death/ spawn, or pickup. These include abilities like the power to turn invisible, sprint, or even make a decoy.
And of course you can now dress your character up with a bunch of different armor options for aesthetics.
Campaign has always sucked, so don't get your hopes up. It really is a game whos core is in its multiplayer (and now) customization.
If you where ever wanting to pick up a Halo game, this is the one to get.
