Rant on non-specific shipping company...

Initiating frequency broadcast....
So, this is sorta just to get my frustration out there lol.
Well, the company in question is FedEx... Who, I feel, has been declining in popularity in the last few years.
So, here we go:
Ordered something Saturday night, and was confirmed. Dropped off at shipping location, which is 344 miles south west from where I live. I'm familiar with UPS' service, and they usually start shipping at 10-12 Sunday night... And they update pretty much within 2 hours.
Now, FE on the other hand, didn't give me an update until very late Monday night. I sent support emails to both the shipper and supplier because I was concerned, didn't get one from FA did get one from my supplier though. Well, updated, everything, I was like "Fine... as long as it gets here on time.". Well, next thing I know it's gone about... 40 miles in 8 hours, in transit, not just sitting, then sat at that location, went BACK to the original location, then went back to the other location! It sat there for a few hours, then got scanned for departure. THEN I notice it's scanned back in about the same distance from the origin, but in the NORTH WEST. Basically it traveled right next to me, and wasn't dropped off! So now it's gotta come BACK the way it came, and finally be dropped off here....
I know behind all the chaos there is order, but it just seems pointless to me... But oh well, it'll get here eventually and it's not like I'm on a deadline or anything =P
