werewolf meme!

Recently I've been on a big werewolf kick. Watched the new wolfman, underworld 3, some cheesey werewolf movies...and found Being Human on BBC America. I rather like the show and the speci effects!
Werewolf Meme by
...Its a meme about your own version of werewolves. Because they're mythological, and can pretty much be any version of a human turning into a wolf.
Original cause of "werewolfism":
communicable retrovirus that literally re-writes the host's DNA.
How can one become a werewolf?:
obviously by being bitten, but also through contact with body fluids. Ex: werewolf blood gets in an open wound, your eye, or mouth. Or you have unprotected sex with a werewolf.(these ways aren't as 100% as a bite. More like a 50% chance of infection.)
A born-werewolf can only have been fathered by a werewolf. Female werewolves very rarely carry a baby to term, since the transformations put so much stress on her body. Its Very rare, but two werewolves can bear a child.
Lifespan:
On average, a newly bitten wolf won't last more than one or two moon cycles. If they make it past that and learn to cope with the condition, they can live well past 100 years.
mortality:
Semi-mortal. They can live much longer than a human and can take a lot of damage before they die. Silver isn't an instant kill, it just causes a severe allergic reaction that can be fatal. (like a bee sting for someone allergic to them)
Intellegence/self control:
Control over the wolf form takes years to master, and even then, one can lose control when under stress. A werewolf in its wolf form is surprisingly cunning. Not quite intelegent by human standards, but they are quick learners and are always aware of their surroundings.
Height:
anywhere from 6 inches to a foot taller than their human form, depending on their build.
Fur colors (wolf colors or human hair colors?):
Natural wolf colors mixed with muted tones of the human's hair color.
Main killing weapon....teeth or claws?:
Teeth, of course, but will use hand-claws and powerful arms like a bear to knock down prey.
Preferred food:
Anything that can be considered 'meat' or that smells like it. (beef flavored dog food sometimes works.)
Run on all fours or two?:
Four when in a flat-out run or when following a scent. Two for walking and for running short distances.
Body type (bulky, hunched, lithe, more wolflike, etc... feel free to link!) :
Wolf form is often similar to human form in terms of height and build, just adding some extra muscle and height. Some can look very wolf-like, while others come off as more ape-like.
Lifestyle - More time as wolf or human?:
Depending on if they embrace the condition or if they hide it, a wolf could live among humans and only dossapear for the full noon, or they could take to living in the wild with nature.
Forms (human, wolf, beast/anthro, etc):
human and 'wolf-man'. Not quite a full wolf, but anything but human. No forms between.
Shifting Cause (moon, free will, ritual, etc.):
Like the tide, the wolf's body is connected to the moon. They have no choice when the moon is full. An older more experienced wolf can change at will. Others might change when put under stress or with strong emotions.
Shifting Process (is it painful? fast? Can they do it on the run?):
Incredibly painful for the first few times, which is often why a new wolf dies. After that, they become numb to the pain or might even enjoy it. It can be quick, unless it is resisted, but not quick enough to do on the run.
Abilities retained in human form:
More acute senses, superior balance and coordination. Increased strength and healing.
Physical traits retained in human form:
Some extra hair growth, somewhat sharper canines, maybe sharp nails...
Any mortal enemies (ex. vampires?) :
humans with guns....
Loners, or pack-animals?
Pack animals, unless they try to hide themselves and live like hermits...

Nevermind then, though, I guess.
But the likelyhood of infection is tied to the moon..like, you are more likely to be infected if you have sex with a werewolf close to the full noon than you are if its a new moon.
