A big day, a lonely day.
Well, today was a pretty depressing day. I mean, it was one of those days I have once in a long while where I just am depressed from the getgo and can barely function.
My best friend moved recently, the closest co-worker I had left just moved yesterday, and I feel like I'm going nowhere. So, that all hit me too and I did a lot of thinking.
I'd been thinking of buying a house... but, what's the point if there's no one here I want to spend time with? No one really wants to stay in this city, truthfully.
So, I've decided to forego that and persue college. The main thing is figuring out exactly what I want to do I guess. I'm working on that. I'm thinking an English or Electronics degree of some kind.
I figure an education can go anywhere with you, but that house just stays where it is, what if I find I want to move somewhere while paying it off? I mean, there are things you can do, but my point is that it'd be a waste of time/effort in a way.
I mean, I really, really , hate what I do and I don't think it's going to get much better without some sort of education.
:B herp derp it only took 4-5 years to get my shit together... hopefully. It's not like I've not been down this path before and wandered off it.
I'll be going down to part time at work, partly for leisure pursuits such as writing and drawing, as I've had about zero time for that as is, and partly to get my college affairs figured out.
Wish me luck, all 2-3 people that will probably read this XD
