Netbooks are a cheap and accessible alternative to laptops nowadays. I've been using one for the past year, and so long as you don't have to do anything super-intensive on it, it's good for everything. Even typing once you get used to the keyboard.

And nowadays, you can buy low end laptops (which are still better than netbooks) for the same price.

Heh, that'd work, but my fingers are a bit large. They don't play well with smaller keyboards.

It's a consideration, but I have a friend who's got a laptop he's gonna sell. I just need to put it on "layaway" and I should have it relatively soonish...

Argh, I know how you feel man. My HD crashed some time ago when I was trying to get my adapter to work (got broke somehow when it fell on the floor while still in my laptop, I believe, and stopped working at times), and was being a little forceful in doing so. XD Though since then, I've tried to get new parts for it, but the manufacturer took forever with the main thing I need, a new HD. But I've recently canceled it and am going to return the other parts in favor of a new laptop.

Anyway, here's to hoping that we're both back online soon! And that I can talk with you again, when that happens.
