I'm annoyed now. My department held a writing competition with R5000 prize money per category. I entered three essays in two categories and didn't win! I was mentioned as one of the best essays but there was only a first prize. Not only that but I've never even heard of the person who did win, and neither had some people I asked. Just as depressingly my supervisor, who thins I play too many games, wasn't there to hear me get a special mention.

so yes, I'm an excellent writer and I'm pissed off because I didn't win the competition and instead came second to some person no one has ever heard of.
