"Are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

Okay, I've been kinda pondering off and on for a while now on whether to make Brenna a herm by default.
I'll admit part of the reason is sexual (kinda like how I like musclefemmes. *blushes deep* =>.>=; ). Yet, Brenna (along with Bren) is basically a reflection of who I am, so the herminess could also reflect that I'm somewhere between masculine and feminine. But then, I still have Bren and the concept of him representing my male side, while Brenna's my female side (Not bringing Brenda into this. Don't want to add unnecessary complications. =>.<= ). So why make Brenna go herm when I still have a perfectly good male side (ie, Bren)? WOULD that actually be considered an 'issue'?
Of course, a solution to that is to make BRENJI (Bren and Brenna merged together) my default. However, even though this makes some logical sense, it would, at the very least, be a bit of a change, considering the history I kinda have to retcon (basically merging two characters AND their histories/baggage into one). Not only that, but I think I'd also have to come up with a better name than "Brenji". =>.>=;
And I could be just making a mountain out of a molehill here, so to speak (I AM a mountain lion, after all. ;P ;) ). Or, at the very least, I'm just being my usual indecisive self. Or that I actually need to COMMIT to something.
Eh, don't mind my random prrflings here. ^^;
Prf, would this be considered an identity crisis? =o.O=

personally, i think the best option is one of 2.
either the aforementioned (as in by myself) 3 way youness, an option which allows you to adopt what by now surely within furrydom must be accepted as all three genders (there's probably as many herms as males or females, so surely counts as much).
Or, have brenna somehow be able to switch betweent he two. This wouldn't be completely stupid and idiotic either since it has been proven that Brenna can make Bren female, so why not have Brenna be able to be made herm?
Logically speaking, they'd be kinda gone, kinda like how, when Goku and Vejita from Dragonball Z merged into Gojita, the original characters didn't remain behind as separate entities. At the very least, I'd have to come up with some way to merge and separate the two or something. Hmm..."Wonder Twins Activate"? *ponders a picture/sequence idea* =>.>=
Of course, since Bren has his 'Mad Scientist kit', he COULD just create a clone that's basically Bren and Brenna combined. =<.<=
So yeah, I don't know. ^^;
As for the other option, since Bren CAN go Brenda on occasion, I suppose there's no reason why Brenna can't go herm. Though, since Brenda is fully female, Brenna might 'have to' go fully male (and that side DOES kinda exist, actually. His name is Brent =>.>=; ). Although...maybe Bren AND Brenna could BOTH go 'middle ground' between their male and female states (as well as go fully male or fully female), thus giving us TWO herms *ponders a possible picture idea out of THAT* =O.O=
*prrfles at the above* Maybe I AM overthinking this. =O.O=
BTW, the only reason Brenji even EXISTS was because I was pondering the question "Which Prrfler am I while on the IMs and how can people reliably tell the difference?" ^^;
Also, Brenna being able to switch from female to herm is kinda the arrangement I have NOW. So the question kinda boils down to "leave things as is, or change things up a bit, for one reason or another?" =>.>=;
Why not just be like most people and make her gender change to fit their whims or artwork at the time?? *shrugs and nuzzles into Brenna*
Well, she IS suseptible to OTHER variations of milk.... =>.>=;;
Once upon a time, I almost posted a journal saying I was going to go mainly herm for forevers, 'cause I liked being one a lot--but I eventually decided against it. I suppose my "resolution" was just to be "neutral," and to be either male or herm depending on whom I'm with. I still do think about it sometimes, though...
When herm, I like to think of myself as both male and female at the same time, rather than mainly one gender with some "extra bits." Although I do tends to steer towards the feminine side despite the large musculature I usually show off. It's fun!
Anyhow, just my two prrflin's. (Did I say that right?)
