aww I wish I was going. I've never been to a convention

I've only been to the con's here in Washington. Every year I promise myself I'll go to the next FC, but something always prevents me.
From what I've heard, the con's here are much more relaxed, less stressful than bigger ones.
I think they're fun, they may not have all the things the bigger con's do, but I'm happy to get to see friends as much as anything.

Can you not afford to go?

well yeah there's the affording thing, but also not knowing anybody, I usually hate crowds and I'm no social butterfly. I have 1 furry friend IRL and I'd like to go with him, but I don't think he'll be going any time soon either. Maybe in a few more years...

Money can be a problem, but you'll never meet people if you don't make the effort. So if you can afford to go sometime you shouldn't let your reclusiveness hold you back.
If I'm there your guaranteed a friend to hang around with and I'm sure you would like my friends too.
So don't let that stop you either.

I'm a lot like you, I don't like crowds and have never enjoyed 'social' type settings. I've always just had one or two friends I hung out with that weren't into parties, dances, etc. either. But I decided a while back that I need to overcome my shyness and make an effort to meet more people. I've met a few jerks and some people who I don't really 'click with'. But I've also met some incredibly nice people too and it was well worth the effort because the friends I have now are far better than I have ever had.

I'm historically bad at con reports. Usually they consist of: ate food, saw people, bought crap... but I'll make an effort and your always welcome to ask.

But you're right and I'm sure I'll make more... I could ask my boyfriend to go with me but he "hates" furries. He says he does even tho he calls me bun all the time -_-
